2022 was a significant year for Amicis, in no short part down to the support and opportunities brought about by membership of Plexal’s Launch and Grow programmes.
Thanks to Plexal and their subject matter expert partners, Amicis has had exposure to invaluable guidance and support in establishing and growing out critical business departments, as well as opportunities to exhibit and present at renowned industry events.
The chance to meet and build relationships with potential investors has opened up the potential of how we can develop our IP faster. At the beginning of February in Birmingham, we got to meet fellow cohort members face to face and share the success we’ve found in collaborating within the programme as well as business opportunities we’ve established through working together.
We were also invited on stage to share our experiences and views on the programmes that exist to support early stage UK cyber businesses and areas for development. Ultimately, our view is there are many useful resources available, whether you’re looking to solve information security challenges for businesses or break barriers to entry for people into this industry. These resources are only valuable, though, if you are prepared to commit your time and concentration to them to help your business evolve.
Members should also look to participate in Plexal events as these can help project your business or idea to relevant audiences who will value or can help the development of your offering.
As the programme draws to a close, we wish to give special thanks to all those who have supported us over the past seven months and are excited at the future opportunities through this partnership. Specifically, Arutyun Arutyunyan, Alan Every, Holly Smith and Scarlett Worsfold who were continually on hand to assist through both our Launch and Grow phases of these initiatives over the past 8 months.
