David Hallam
Chairman
David is the Chairman of Amicis Group and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board. With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years, David is a seasoned executive who founded his own cyber security enterprise, which he successfully sold to a global FTSE-listed company.
Following the acquisition, David assumed a pivotal role on the operational board of the acquiring organisation, contributing significantly to its meteoric rise from a £90Million market cap to an impressive £1Billion. David’s expertise extends to M&A advisory, where he has acted as a Non-Executive Director on the buy-side and sell-side for numerous business transactions.
Specialising in cyber security, David has been a trusted advisor to a myriad of organisations, both public and private, at the board and ownership levels. His strategic insights have shaped the direction of various enterprises across multiple industry sectors. He has been instrumental in the conceptualisation and market launch of innovative services and products, further solidifying his reputation as a transformative leader.
In addition to his role at Amicis Group, David serves as a board advisor to a prominent global business listed on both the Frankfurt and USA OTC markets. His multi-faceted experience and strategic vision make him an invaluable asset to Amicis Group and its diverse clientele.
Robert Wilson
Managing Director
Robert Wilson is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Amicis Group, a cyber security and managed IT services business established in 2021. Over the past five years, Robert has played a central role in building Amicis from an early-stage business into a growing cyber resilience specialist supporting organisations across the UK.
As Managing Director, Robert is responsible for the Group’s commercial strategy, operations, financial performance and continued growth. He has led the development and expansion of Amicis Group’s cyber security portfolio, including CyberGuard managed security services, SOC and SIEM capabilities, penetration testing and professional services, alongside the Group’s expansion into security-led Managed IT Services.
Robert has overseen the delivery of complex cyber security and IT programmes across sectors including financial services, healthcare, housing, legal, construction, manufacturing and the public sector. He has been instrumental in building the commercial and operational foundations of the business, developing new revenue streams, growing the customer base and creating the internal structure required to support continued scale.
Working closely with the wider leadership team, Robert continues to drive Amicis Group’s growth strategy, with a focus on recurring managed services, customer retention, service innovation and establishing the Group as a leading UK cyber resilience and managed technology business.
Peter Moorhead
Chief Technology Officer
Peter Moorhead is Chief Technology Officer and a Director of Amicis Group, where he leads the company’s technology strategy and the continued development of its Cyber First managed services proposition.
With more than 20 years of experience across cyber security, managed services and technology transformation, Peter has held senior roles with Hewlett-Packard, Capita and Telefónica Tech, where he most recently served as CTO of Cyber..
Throughout his career, Peter has been responsible for designing and bringing to market managed cyber security services across areas including Managed Detection and Response, Security Operations, SIEM, Cloud Security, Identity, Exposure Management and Incident Response. He has also led major managed service programmes, technical teams and periods of significant business and technology transformation.
At Amicis Group, Peter is focused on combining enterprise-grade technology and cyber security capability with the agility, accountability and personal service of an independent business. He works closely with customers, partners and the Amicis technical teams to ensure services remain practical, relevant and continually evolving.
His approach is simple: technology matters, but great people, strong relationships and consistently excellent delivery are what ultimately create the best customer outcomes.
Peter Wood
Delivery Director
Peter is Amicis Group’s Delivery Director and brings over 30 years’ experience in technology related roles. During his 20-year career at the Health & Safety Executive, he undertook various roles, culminating in him managing the outsourced PFI contract for IT service provision.
In 2008, he left government service joining David Hallam’s SDLC Solutions where he undertook a number of consultancy roles, including management of the largest data migration programme ever undertaken by the UK Ministry of Defence, earning a Ministerial Commendation for his part in helping the department save £50m in legacy system costs.
Following the acquisition of SDLC by NCC Group in 2010, Peter moved into operational and commercial management, moving up to Director in 2013, where, among other responsibilities he lead the operational and commercial management of the Web Performance Division. This unit specialised in helping customers realise the benefits of their online presence, by providing actionable insight from their website and mobile applications to help optimise these capabilities and drive increased revenues.
